Shit this final issue was so fucking good.The down and out desperation of Barton to try and be a hero but having to toe the gray line was so good.Also the art by helped make this one of the best Hawkeye stories in a while, simply outstanding.

The night I spent all by my lonesome in this SkyNest was amazing. It was freezing cold, well below - 30°C.
I find myself longing for those nights in this heat we're having now.
That desperation you feel when it's so cold it just hurts and the relief when you manage to warm up.

Yep! This shot is probably where you can see it best - even though his hand is out of focus, he's still so obviously reaching for Kara. And like you said, there was no logic in doing that; it was all just desperation and love. It doesn't get more OTP than that, honestly.
