This is unlikely the issue. If an artist was hired at all they were likely handcuffed by what walking embodiments of the word "beige" required them to produce. But I highly suspect this is what we would call "programmer art".

In reality that didn't happen. I was told but the programmer wasn't ready. I had to wait to actually commence work. Before that I did the Say No To Strangers loading screen, then the & loading screens for MagMax. It was a few weeks later.
