Wanted to test out how different environments influence color. I tried to imagine how the lava of Bowser's castle would project a red hue onto the characters.
It was tough, but very educational! I still have a lot to learn!

Crow is a quiet bird mutant who can usually read people like a book, but hardly shows his own emotions. He's fond of plants and animals, and while he doesn't know as much about society as people think he should, he's always willing to learn!

i got inspired by this one lonely grave in the back go a graveyard that had yellow moss/mold/fungus growing on it. i learned a bit about doing more backgrounds but i’ve still got more to learn!! i loved playing w the texture

To start with, this is Peter! He'd probably take his sword, he's very attached to it. Outside of his 'normal' inventory, most likely a guitar. He can't play it, but what a great time to learn!

Golly! first drawing on sai2! ive discovered that sai2 is really good for cel shading, but there is no blur tool whaaaaaaaaa. i managed to work around it. there is a smudge tool that can be kind of hard to use, but i will learn!
I love drawing dense, old forest scenes. But it’s one of the main things that makes me wish I was a “real artist“ and not just a silly cartoonist. So much to learn! I see some folks, fantastic cartoonists that I follow, who can create such amazing forest scenes. life goals.
