Everyone sharing the old "How to draw Manga" book with the blue haired guy made me remember my actual favorite how to draw manga book. Seriously good tips on perspective, clothing folds, and proportions. Plus, the illustrator slipped in a lot of fandom stuff lol

~art improvement (2018 - 2021)🍼☁️

I always want to improve my art, be better at backgrounds, draw in perspective, not rely too much on reference, draw more dynamic poses... (・Θ・)

Looking back and seeing my improvement (◉Θ◉) It gives me hope that I'd be able to improve more

If you stopped by and checked out the stream, thank you!

And I wasn't fast enough to finish before Easter ended so this'll have to be a belated easter bunny-lala.

I tried challenging myself with a tricky perspective, I don't think I quite got it right however.

Braids today. Considering I'm not too good at doing the face forward perspective, this one turned out pretty okay. I also like the colors on this one. Hands though I'm just not focusing on right now but I did put some more effort on the body on this one.

Hi I'm a Filipino comic artist who specializes in stories about cool kids and teens from a multicultural perspective, and it just so happens I am sorta free for new projects! I rly want a fantasy story featuring snarky teens or tweens in a fantasy setting.

Furry figure in 1 point perspective, I think this is probably how I will start my sketches from now on.

Some more practice! 2 point perspective, hopefully it'll help me figure out how to draw humans in perspective better lol.

Congratulations on getting a PB! I wanted to practice drawing in perspective, so I drew you jumping up to get a star.

I hate how good these two pics are. Poses, camera angle, forced perspective, everything is on point. And they look so airy, as if they were drawn in a couple of hours at most.

In the back of my mind I have been trying to figure out how to use different rulers in CSP to be able to have round things in perspective, I kind of figured it out, its time consuming at the moment but as i get better I will do it much faster

Got to draw a bit today! Wanted to train this particular perspective, since it's always a challenge, but working on this wonderful character made it a blessing! 💜

A new big pixelart just done! took me a while to get the pose ,perspective, and the color patterns correctly. But I hope it was worth it.

Probably an ignorant question, but here goes: what's the point of learning perspective, when you have a program where you can set up some boxes, pose a dummy, and then paint over that? Seems like learning the abacus, when you have a calculator.

Extreme example:

just finished this digital drawing i've been working on off & on for a week or so- it started off as a traditional sketch, but i felt like finishing it up digitally.

i'm still learning a lot when it comes to shading, perspective, and drawing backgrounds so yeah~

1 to 3, depending on the perspective, mostly 1

Me mum: "This photographer is really good but he only does half naked women, isn't it weird."
Me: "Eh, who cares it's not like it's pornographic."
mum: "Yeah but from a male perspective, would you depict a woman like that in your drawings?"
Me: "Wouldn't really care."
My brain:

I tried out perspective, I think I did well!

Like the view?
