I think when you teach grades 1-5 it can be hard to find chapter books to fit your readers. I wrote a 6 part series this summer featuring some chapter books and noting grade levels they work for. Here’s a recap 👇🏼. I hope they help one of your readers! More coming this fall!

Some concept art related to said two ideas. I want to find the right agent/editor/publisher to work with who is into this look and into the idea of publishing offbeat, melancholy, introspective speculative fiction comics for older/adult readers.
(and get me paid of course!)

And for those of you curious, here's some art of Ni'Cetsukichi when she's not being hugged. Arguably the character that got the biggest reactions out of my readers. She's a major part of my Jane series :)

I worked in an elementary school a couple years ago, and their library was STACKED with graphic novels. Made my heart sing! Publishers are scrambling to expand their portfolio of GNs for kids and young adult readers. (Which are often a pretty darn good read for adults too!)

Literally 98% of the people who i talk to om twitter are non-english speakers or readers. Yet they go out the way to translate what i say and then translate what they want to say just so i can understand. To all of those people, i appreciate you. Both Charlotte and I do, thanks

Question: Should I make the first issue of Wildcat a free webcomic so everyone can get an idea of what it's about and whether or not they would support an Indiegogo for it? I want to have a successful campaign and I want to give value to the readers. Thoughts? Poll later maybe.
