@stagspine no not really! always the muted gloomy colors lol… i tend to use more dark and muted colors in my art/designs for a few reasons actually >_> the main ones are (1) bright colors trigger my migraines, (2) they work really nicely for horror and dark themes, and —

all of them tend to have a similar structure like s1 lays the groundwork and is really goofy and cheesy but then you reach the season finale and its suddenly… depression

and then that theme continues throughout the show and there’s this spark of hope towards the final episode

i see people compliment my expressions a lot and its because i tend to use this sort of technique (also good to use real world expressions for examples).

complex/intense emotions tend to make the face more scrunched up. (lines around the mouth are good too)
