🔹️Franquin's comics taught me the importance of line weight (variable thickness).
🔹️Dexter, Danny Phantom & JLA gave me a love for bold linework.
🔹️Aventure time taught me you can do whatever you want with anatomy and char design while still presenting a consistent world. https://t.co/hDTwqfhpjj

Not really a style perse but I love experimenting with varied line thickness and colors!

Day 2: Paul lasaine // Nathan Fowkes
(I had no idea what I was doing today... LOL sadly I focused too much on rendering and the thickness of the painting + color suffered)

I tweaked the colors some. I think a new golden rule for Ki is no matter how faded her eyebrows need to be just solid black voids of thickness. https://t.co/hKlQNbvUmU

Today I did a little study.

The overall design wasn't important. I just wanted to improve in some areas.
While I kept the thickness of the outlines constant, I broke the rule in "form-giving" places.
Also I used a more atmospheric hue for the shadows. (I made them blue lol)

Molly the Angle as well Is Having the Same -- Wait... Nevermind.
I just remembered she has the power Growing every part of her body or Anybody, To Muscles as well giving Little TOO of thickness. :3

I’m really interested in the fact that most of the replies so far are more recent Pokémon designs. I wouldn’t be a fan of this one if I couldn’t use custom printed fabric, plus those limbs probably aren’t going to happen at this thickness lol

I used to use the fluffy water color brush for my lineart when I used MediBang. It’d make the lines kinda bumpy but still clear and easy to use. Otherwise I’d try different brush thicknesses I don’t use often.

(Also here’s some examples of fluffy watercolor lines)

First time using Clip Studio Paint for vector lines, and I never thought I'd encounter something as magical as the line & thickness correction features! It erases the pains away!

I have decided to use a different pen for the May Patreon reward. I think I like it because it's way easier to add some thickness to my linework. What do you think?
