2013 - The Tale of Princess Kaguya
A rewarding, visually distinctive swan song from the late, great Isao Takahata that I enjoy more upon each viewing.
2.0 vs 1.0. I wanted to simply her design to make her easier to draw consistently, but also make her visually distinct enough that she doesn't feel like an obvious rip of her various design inspirations.
@OKdotGLASS UI seems visually appealing but they have this weird system where you're supposed to sing along with the muppets in order to record? also a limited amount of instrument presets, seems varied enough to be salvaged
this isnt from my current mario redesign project (thats coming maybe soon I think its gonna be real cool) its an older idea for a combat based platformer. I still like some of the ideas but the style just wasnt interesting enough visually for me to keep working on it
my SON my fav jojo so far. i'm biased and i like his type of character visually, ( see baddinyan, mondo oowada, ect. ) but he's just a good lad.
They were clearly having fun with the names here, and kudos to Grummett for making each design visually compelling.
2012: There were some AMAZING games that came out this year but I'm sorry but it wasn't even fucking close. This is the pinnacle of video games for me. Incredible characters, great gameplay (if you're right-handed), visually stunning, especially for 3DS, and a fantastic story

2020 - Spider-Man: Miles Morales and TLOUII
I know ties are unsatisfying but these games both hit me emotionally, were gorgeous visually, and overall fun gaming experiences that I've never quite had before. Brava to the twinners!
