My biggest advice to all you out there is to focus on one thing at a time while you learn. Art is a huge task, and learning too many things simultaneously will overwhelm you.

Starting out, I recommend finding a character you like to draw, and using them to develop your art!

I would say, try to create general shapes in you drawings, to go with the characters personality.
Like, square for stronger and serious characters, triangles for vilanous and emo
