There is so much work behind the scenes that goes into improving as an artist that the average person probably won’t see, so I get the misconception, but even so, this is #SkillNotTalent
Haven't been doing this for very long, but here's my digital art progress for now ✨
2021 vs 2022
#SkillNotTalent
June 2019 - November 2022, first ever digital art verses most recent big polished piece. #SkillNotTalent
Trust me, I wish talent was a thing, it would have saved me lots of tears #SkillNotTalent
2017 vs 2022
You just gotta put in the work, put in the hours...
2020 vs 2022 ✨
#SkillNotTalent
Ooof. 2015 vs 2021. I’ve been drawing for 20+ years to reach this level and I’m still learning. #skillnottalent
#skillnottalent
2013 vs 2022, my first digital in ms paint vs one of my best recent pieces. It's a long road but it's so worth it. AI prompters will never understand.
Dedication,
Discipline,
Passion,
Time.
2017 - 2022 , and I'm not done yet ! 🔥
#SkillNotTalent
comparing two pretty different pieces, but thought i'd chip in for the #SkillNotTalent tag
the first one's from around 2018-2019? and the second one is from a few months ago. nice to see i'm actually getting better at using colour.
Making art is not something you are immediately born knowing.
You will make bad art, sometimes what you wanna make will feel outside of your current skill level. but you know what. You try anyway cause that's how you learn and get better!
