Copic and Prismacolor markers have been a godsend bc they finally allowed me to color my art in that smooth color + cel-shaded style I love so much without the streakiness of colored pencils or crayola markers

new details i added a while back too: max draws stuff on his suit thing with markers + jack ties an old cloth belonging to a fallen partner around his arm. hypothetically a younger pilot could also put stickers on their suit. i like the idea of them personalising stuff like this
