Meanwhile contemporary 3D fighters that have their roots in 2D franchises tend to exaggerate the hands on the female characters too. These exaggerated proportions help attacks read better during gameplay. Also I just think they're neat!

@_ZeroFabio @Beto_Fuentealba @frionel26 The practice of exaggerating proportions like the hands and feet is a practice carried over from the 2D Sprite Days. It makes it easier to visually read characters animations/silhouettes. Looks weird in 3D cutscenes but helps gameplay tremendously.
