steven universe has truly changed the game for animation. and not only has it inspired myself artistically but its themes on the lgbt community, mental health and love have changed my life for the better.

I just wanted to thank Steven Universe for being the main cartoon that inspired me to continue art and study animation. These characters were always here for me throughout my childhood and I am forever in Rebecca Sugar’s debt for these precious years. Good bye #StevenUniverse

Steven universe was with me through art school and ended the day I got my first job in animation. I havent seen the finale yet but I will, and I will cry.
