People sat around a table to decide a slightly lighter gradient would appeal more to Europeans
i have discovered gradient maps dont ask why it took me this long
#blaseball @NagomiMcdaniel @fitzblackburn
i used to do a lot more stuff with gradients & textures but i more or less abandoned all that in favour of lines and flat colours recently. I still like these old pieces a lot. jesus 2013 feels like a lifetime ago already
@_skywayzone @Dr_Starline That pink/blue gradient in their hair though.
and then i projected onto beau and made it her bday too. featuring lazily colored doodles via flat colors and gradients.

@_velow first two r on bases by scpkidd!!
i prefer 2 make more simple designs but i love adding spots and gradients to things
@artofprefeito I started filling in my negative space with actual backgrounds as opposed to just using a solid color/color gradient.

[@PMSeymourDoodle] very slightly missed christmas day but here's an elf i've been meaning to draw for a while! the hair gradient was an interesting challenge, but i think i got it!
Hey look I did a thing! Recently discovered that @clipstudiopaint has gradient maps and took the oportunity to learn how to use them.
Picked up my copics and my stack of ATCs to experiment with blending to get gradient effects.
Started with the kiss on the bridge. A friend said that the couple looked like my OCs- Aidanna & Maven.
And alas started a series of ATCs featuring Aidanna.
Last two are my faves.

Ice Hammer – 30min. spitpaint... gradients and screen blending modes to the rescue! The thumbnail makes it look more like an axe though... ah well ^_^

Another god-like artist when it comes to details to clothing AND background. I love how you can't box their coloring to cel or soft because for me it looks like she uses textures, gradients and patterns as 'shading' which is really cool <3 (1/2)
just found out gradient maps are a thing ... time to overuse the shit out of them !!!
(WIP) oh my god putting a bunch of gradients on textures.....is so good. life changing
