I don't know been outright stated in any of the shows but it seems to be accepted lore. The design for Ultraman: The Next makes it more apparent, the red bits on his suit definitely look organic, even having what appear to be striations

Dublin has lots of Connemara marble. This beauty shows refolding of a tectonic layering, with an axial planar fabric starting to form (dark vertical lines).
