So I just played 1.17 legitimately for the first time and I thought I'd try getting rid of my artblock, by editing my biggest problems of the new textures! I love most of them, but I have some problems with a few!

Should I do more of these and put them into a resourcepack?

oh well pretty much it showing up on both sides of the nose is just when light is directly front on the face which won't happen much

And for textures I have a drawn shadow on the bottom of the nose so it merges up like so

Well - there's no PBR, the polycount still produces angular and exaggerated geometry, and a lot of textures, especially for the characters, are handpainted

It's a rather particular look, so I'd call it "stylized" for sure

Brush experiment! Had fun trying out a lot of different brushes and textures. It gets a bit overwhelming for me sometimes, with the amount that is available 🙈

I watched some video about colouring digitally so i tried shading in ways I normally don't, and even learned how to use textures and gradient maps!

Decided to practice with a little Razor because I love him.

I just found out about this today. But apparently the smears in Z 17 are unused (or at the very least the texture portion). While Z 17 DOES have smears in his model and his color01 textures, the game uses a generic yellow line smear, so if used (unless color01) they'll be green.
