A lot of times before I'd get discouraged by backgrounds, now I'm excited to add typing details no one will notice.
Even the comparison of the (coloured) one, to the sketch on the right,
Really helps me see my progress, even in just a sketch.

the way i draw objects and backgrounds is so fundamentally different in style to how i draw characters, yet still i dont feel like it is unfitting, nor that is ugly i quite like the big, rough strokes. i dont know if its good that i dont take offense to this but eh
