Seeing the evolution of their character designs and art styles is definitely one of my favorite things about the series on a whole. It's been around long enough for each of the games to show a gradual transition.

I don't know if it was entirely the cuteness or the fact it was a cool and unique concept, but it really inspired me overall. In 2015, I mostly focused on cell/soft-shading work, but when 2017 hit I focused primarily on painting.
