I was thinking the same, but I'd guess it's consistent writing, appealing designs, sometimes black and white is more powerful than full color. But that's only my take. I was thinking the same a few days ago. I guess art style is a plus, too?

Linework, shadow colors (i did changed the shadow style by my technically ep 2) and hair highlights

And I learned to edit the speech bubble lines to not appear rough 😂

I had a whole month to explore styles every release so 😅

The plot can be your typical makoto shinkai film but atleast it is consistent and straight forward as it can get. And yeah the parkour scenes were great and Wit did a really good job with the visuals and sequence. Very reminiscent of what they did with vivy's.

funnily enough, realizing that Eggman's actually the hardest Sonic character to draw?

I dunno why but everyone else feels a lot more consistent - Monsieur Robotnik seems like he changes (albeit subtly) the most and it makes it kinda hard to nail down how he SHOULD look, imo
