Mugen Train (Anime):
I though they did a good job adapting it into a TV format. Fights, music and animation were all top tier. I liked how this presented Tanjiro’s survivor gulit in a unique way. Along with showcasing Rengoku as both a lovable character and a badass harisha

Story-wise, Shoka represents the only "active" Shinjuku Reaper to actually adapt to Shibuya. I don't particularly like how that was explained during the Ayano quest, but her relationship with the rest is made more apparent later, the texts in W3D6 are lovely

Sonic X (Season 2)
A very different season. The first half is adaptations of SA1/2, the second half is original content that brings closure to the series (as well as a bad 'adaptation' of Sonic Battle)
The last four episodes are way better than they have any right to be.
To make a good Resident Evil adaptation, it takes getting the tension of A Quiet Place, the isolationist feel of The Conjuring, and the badass-ness of the Matrix.
Once a filmmaker gets this. Like truly gets this. That's when we'll get a good Resident Evil adaptation.
