We need to stop using "mickey mouse" as a comparison for characters not dying in manga. Did the main character's mom die? Cool. Mickey Mouse comparison stands. Complaining about a white mage healing characters? Mickey's not a mage. That's Donald Duck.

I think the eyes and hair improved remarkably
The eyes are bigger and the color and detail have increased
The color technique also feels more polished.
@ScummandV CMI is a totally different art style (like I said, I would've preferred RMI to look like a natural continuation of MI2), but there is a similarly sinuous quality to the lines. RMI is extremely angular by comparison, which characters the whole character for my idiosyncratic eye.
