there's plenty of animated series who even though, appeal to kids, have amazing plot, excellent storytelling and good execution so much so that they appeal to EVERYONE. kids aren't dumb. they can understand complex series

i'm not saying it's going to be exactly the same as such kid shows but let's be real; winx club doesn't care about it's older audience anymore. their target is kids lower than 6. no 'mature' show has this sort of time interval because it leaves no room for proper storytelling

DRB is one I’ve been eager to get my hands on. It’s a tale about the weight of carrying a blade and knowing how much blood you’ve wiped from it. Many will compare this to Sakai’s work but they’ve earned that comparison. This is the kind of informed, economic storytelling we need.
