The main reason I went with her regular daggers instead of designing something new for her was because of this cheeky little connection I wanted to make (I even cut some dialogue hinting at it). Of course it's not a real connection but it was close enough to work for the comic ✨

Nah, Fuji's art reminds me more of manga targeted towards older demographic like seinen or (less likely) josei, but it still feels distinctly drawn by a man. It's just he never draws women in exaggerated manner. Meanwhile, *actual* female shounen artist tend to have neat lines 👇🏼

Finished the OG anime. Truly a spectacle! I didn’t like quite a few of the character deaths and the obsession with new types near the last quarter kinda derailed the story for me. Still a legendary anime with some cute freckled girls too 🥰
