My recommendation are this:

Experiment a lot. Follow any tutorial that catch your attention, have color references and some idols to look up (mines are hieihirai/ackerly/hosha usagi/akizero/akizone/okuma)

Remember if you spend too much in one artwork you will get tired(+)

I started drawing on my phone using Ibis Paint tutorial, it allowed me to get used to the blending modes. This drawings was made by my finger.

The next drawing was made in clip studio. I didn't know what to do bc the program and brushes were so different from Ibis Paint.

I wish there was some kind of book or just tutorial how to paint skin w/ color zone approach bcs I really need them. I only found these so far.

I love the color zone thingy. My art have gotten so much better since I learn this but boi the sources are so limited 😩

Been working the last couple of weeks on sculpting hair in Zbrush for a batch of commissions using 's tutorial, & I'm so happy with the progress I'm making (plus it's VERY relaxing to do!)
Still got some more work to put in, but it's so much better than before!😊
