It's not a mischaracterization within fantasy, though. These monsters are intended to be evil for an easy villain for players to battle.

I for one, welcome the return of reading WAY too much into minor background details and forming elaborate characterization that formed the basis of early 2010s brony fandom.

I understand people who really don’t prefer the Boom characters to the main series ones, I really do.
But darn it, I can’t help but think Boom Sonic is my favorite characterization of him.
This sassy dork just feels more... human, relatable, and organic, you know?

It's either it or Fever 2, but 15th Anni. may be my favorite Puyo game.

Everything from the art, to the music, to the writing (especially characterization), has a very particular charm to it that I hold dear to me. Helps that it is basically still part of the Fever era.

When a 90's character is better drawn, animated & given proper characterization & importance to plot than 2015/2016 character

Kagetsu Tohya [VN]

The brilliant continuation of the story of Shiki Tohno.

With this.. he really grows as a character to be one of my favorites

Brilliant characterizations for Nanaya/Kouma/Len too.

The side stories, had so much charm and some hit quite hard [continued]

I've read Nightwing's "Without a net" (Let them Live#2) and while this kind of story isn't really my fav, the characterization was so good and the convo btw Bruce and Dick just heartwarming so in the end I enjoyed it very much 😊💙

I love that design process and adds more to her character. Thinking about such really adds a level of depth, if not then characterization.

Also soft and resilient is a vibe I also went with, though more of the "she is going to slam you down if you go too far" type

// gun , scars

Even in his inaugural theatrical outing, Fleming's iconic spy pops right off the screen thanks to Connery's immaculate characterization, a genuinely intriguing tale, & fabulous jet-set aesthetics.

watching it though really gave me like a meta moment, like I know their characterizations all very wildly but I'm drawing a comic in which goemon has a sexuality crisis and he spends most the movie looking like this

Great start to this run. Love the characterization. Love the art. Super page layouts.
Art and story just synergistic here.

The little characterization they've done for Agent 3 in Splatoon 2 has done wonders for her. Capable, raw and a absolute monster on the field. I'm a fan.

People complain a lot about Historia's characterization in S3P1 due to the cut content. However, I believe Levi was the character most affected by this.

With Historia you get the same character, just less fleshed out. Manga Levi vs anime Levi is a whole different conversation.

nvm i found more pics that i just like. anyways i cant wait to see what future comics take from the show because even if it was its own little contained story, the characterizations were too good to just leave there

this anime is so frustrating to watch because chii-chan's characterization is that she's not romantically interested in any of the boys and yet they keep going after her u_u

Alright guys sorry to bring the vsdebating here but serious question, who would win in a fight, Big Steamed Steak Man or a two spheres on a stick with an underrated characterization? (poll below, and potential spoilers for both series)
