This is a fractal exactly as I rendered, completely undistorted. Often I distort fractals in . The only change I made to this was reducing color saturation and erasing some parts. But this has face elements to it. Eye socket areas, nose and teeth.

What's the true shape of Eurasia? Couldn't find a good so I made it myself. Azimuthal equidistant centered on 46N 80E. Just the landmass without islands and distortions caused by overused orientation and projection conventions. The result is a bit surprising.

This took about 4-5 hours and still didn’t come out how I wanted but maybe next time I should use actual watercolour paper instead of mixed media. Taking a photo at 4am isn’t exactly a bright idea either as it distorts the colours. BUT HAVE IT ANYWAY.
