hey!! so i did this design a while ago and i need some help/opinions! this is supposed to be a teacher's robe in a fantasy setting, worn on top of their own clothes. the sash is the most important part of the robe but I'm not happy with how it looks. it doesn't look.. important?

Well I guess pale+ginger palette doesn’t quite work on a full-body scale. It’s pretty, but lacking something and I can’t pinpoint what’s wrong. Maybe it’s the sash.

Btw, this kind of shirt was invented by sheep people to keep the body cool if someone had massive wool. Initially, it was a shirt with slits on both sides but got narrower over time. There's a very similar item in traditional deer fashion that however started as a kind of sash.
