I participated in the art trade event run by . , and got . 's saniwa, Ainosuke! I hadn't drawn Kikkou before, and I wanted to bust out the ol' screentones, so this was a fun exercise.

yeah! for the background, ill use a variety of patterns, usually lines or dots or whatever would work best, and for the whole image, ill overlay a screentone at low opacity and sometimes use a sort of blurring brush to help with depth (images show before/after processing)
