I want to give some appreciation to John Hubley. His use of limited animation as well as simple designs that he pioneered brilliantly at UPA are really innovative and his work such as in Gerald McBoing Boing, Rooty Toot Toot, and the prologue to Watership Down show his talent.

i've read those, i mean more like understanding stuff like the upa style and cartooning abstraction, usually related to the style known as "cartoon modern" you know what i mean? only big resource i can seem to find is that one book "Cartoon Modern" but it's expensive as hell
