This is super messy when you get even closer! But I suppose if you like extremely obvious brushstrokes this'll maybe tickle your fancy.
This #drawtober is obviously unfinished, but I think my lack of an ability to effectively texture my brushstrokes in any meaningful way is bothering me so Im going to stop here for now. Its clear to me that I need to do more brushwork practice on top of life studies. #carvings

the ink brushstroke style used when ilpyo went rage mode is so satisfying
Morisot’s philosophy was to paint light & dissolve colour into component parts for the eye to mix. Critics have described this as feathery brushstrokes but that is to miss her goal. The Psyche Mirror (1876), Woman with a Fan (1876), Tureen & Apple (1877) & Summer (1878)
#100percentzoom As you can tell,,, I love that you guys can see a lot of my brushstrokes~ uwu
95% of all the textures here are done by hand and not texture brush! ☺️
I love zooming into artwork and seeing each brushstroke and line the artists chose to include, so I’m living for this tag #100percentzoom
I use small canvas sizes <v<

I like using high resolutions and complex linework to hide how messy my work can be... But sometimes it's nice to look up close and see the brushstrokes. #100percentzoom
Today it was truly enjoyable to teach Yr3. We sorted out warm and cool colours by playing with mixing and brushstrokes. Students had to play and discover what happens when you mix different colours together and experiment with quantities of water. Well done Yr3! @DixonsTC

So much details and brushstrokes actually get lost with the low resolutions I usually post.
