one thing I always do when doing cell shading is grab the base colour, make it darker and tint it warmer or colder, also I sometimes scribble over everything because it adds a neat effect, this is what it looks like if I do it well lmaoo

FINAL STEP

You may wonder that the colour looks off after adding the highlights, well you can easily fix this by colouring on the lineart! Just used the shadow colours (but darker) and then voila! You're done :D

Same as step 4, add more base shading with different colours into the same layer. Let me tell you a secret, legends say adding blue shadows make your art pop more, so try doing that as well👀

Art tip: The neck will always be darker because of shadows!

Purple vs Green dialectic opposition is not good.
Both at once is kinda ugly.
I should pick only one or another. Dichotomy.
For Hegelian synthesis I must[combine/mix]'em.
Intermediary Cyan & Indigo highlights are a more aesthetic mix.
