Everyone should read Ordinary Victories by Manu Larcenet, a seemingly straightforward yet multi-layered story of a photographer in his twenties that moves to the countryside in hopes of dealing with his psychological problems.

THE GLURY ZONE
a city-turned-scrapyard. the only signs of life are creatures seemingly made of inanimate scrap materials, always on the run from giant robots and walking buildings.

This piece I did in July greatly matches the tone and theming I aim for in my Fantasy concept, so it's a pretty important piece from this year to me.
