FFXVI looks great. Its made by the FFXIV studio which explains the similarity in atmosphere but its still enough to give it its own feel which im a fan of. I really think this will finally be the game to get Square back on track. Design, characters, and combat are 100% I'm in

Man, of all the new Final Fantasy games for people to call generic or uninspiring, it had to be FFXVI while it literally has the dream team involved. That is a pretty unfortunate from what I am seeing besides those who played FFXIV who actually know what the team is capable of.

We saw interesting similarities too. Joshua is the child of the Archduke in FFXVI. This is a role that is also similar to Vagrant Story's Joshua, who was also the son of a duke and played a pivotal role in the game. They also look similar!

The "PS5 console exclusive" thing is huge and it makes you wonder just how bad FF must've sold on Xbox if Sony was able to snatch a deal like this.

Remember that even was "only" announced as a timed exclusive back in 2015.
