Painting a life size hand! Foreshortening is a weird thing. Her hand is the same size as mine: her body is probably the size of 3 of my hands. The exaggerated perspective gives an interesting sense of depth to a painting & draws the viewer in, giving a greater sence of intimacy

Trying to do foreshortening with my old style feels weird.
Like stretching my old cartoonish 4-5 heads-ish tall characters out of proportions.
Plus trying to do solid shading and lighting instead of blending both.
