@Tayact3 Here I can show the light thing better. I throw light in the middle, and erase it in some points. In this one I also added lighter lines, but that's a plus.
@seashell_arts @webtooncanvas Feel free to give us a chance at A Stick A Stone, a tale of haunted pasts, tangled futures, and a slowburn set at the end of the world: https://t.co/xZ4hSX8UFs
As long as you are browsing Canvas, definitely recommend you check out Alpha Shift, Inside The Lines, and Taiduo, also!
@DiaVtube @Lord_Vermire Cities skylines, spent way too much time on it... 😅😅😅

Me: Ignores looming deadlines, indulgently draws OCs, this will be a problem for Future!Angeli to worry about = w = ) ✨
This quick boredom doodle is quickly turning into Something so I am going to use this as a way to practice the thinner lineart style I *wish* I had, haha
Using the source images from the #Digimon Vital Bracelet, I've finished a personal goal of cleaning and upscaling these specific Digimon.
Keep in mind that I DO adjust things, redraw lines, and recolor some parts, so these are very much technically EDITS of official images.
“Imagine our universe as a computer program, bounded by the rules defined by lines of codes.”
“Wielder of the Ruby may temporarily alter select lines, causing discrepencies between codes, resulting in glitches, most commonly in the form of objects forming where they shouldn't.”

@JanRockArt @SER_HAL0 Just comparing 4 year difference (yes your original was just lines, but anatomy, style etc is big improvement)
idk why I'm awake at 3 in the morning making psycho bun. Night night guys lol.
@themagicalneo
here ya go.
(Just in case, trying to keep similar colors in separate lines, have a lot of blues and purples.)
@/enqrys did a sketch for me a while back in her stream because I apparently had enough points for that and she allowed me to do anything I wanted with it so of course I did it in my own time on how I think it would look coloring it and adding extra lines, like how it ended up
-add filters, usually overlays or multiplys of the piece's colour
-shade eyes
-fuck around with the background (lines, shapes, glitch effects etc)
-merge all layers
-add chromatic aberration (opacity 10-20%)
Done ! Heres are some better examples of my method
@carlosedubarret Trying some of what I suggested with planes and masks, maybe not the best results with faces but I am sure it will kill it with more defined planes like tree lines, though not sure how it will deal with the repetition of the image in front on the back:
Just finished the first rough cut of the finale of Critical Bits. We have some scripted VO stuff to do and I'm getting some old friends of the show and pasts guests to send in some lines, but I'm feeling all of the feelings right now!
I'm going to go to sonic and get a corndog.
@ericdiepXYZ @emwdx First I created a series of positions to have a simple shape of the outlines, then from these positions I created everything else 🙂
(2 previews of the beginning of the project)
Sketching with a Gradient Fill Correction Layer on makes things more interesting:3
Going with a lighter spectrum though cause the point was to make it easier to differentiate shadow shapes from filled areas, lines, and so I can move on to Inking more easily.
