WIP Harrier. The model is floating around 1400 tris as I add details and optimize. After tonight's tweaking and additions, I'm really happy with how this is turning out. #gamedev #Blender3d
Mid-game screens show some of the Black Unicorn antagonists, but also a big cute dino king boss.
Wind's Seed seems to use a low-res video mode in its game frame, or at least a larger pixel scale. It doesn't run that well despite this. I wonder how unoptimized the game's code is.

@Tormut_Rose @Majora__Z Nothing beats the real thing, but man oh man this is the best scanline emulation I've ever seen. The difference it makes for PSOne games is SHOCKING. These portraits were absolutely optimized for scanlines!

Today was cleanup grind day. 308 bones, 34,391 Faces!
Fully modelled clothes, body, etc, no body culling and got that low poly count! Hell yeah for 100% scratch, way more optimized than any kitbash.
Modelling and skeleton phase complete. Next is Rigging.
@BlearGames ... source would be the opengl version because it's more powerful with it's rendering but it hasn't been optimized for this and as a result, software's more accurate to what the artists want and doesn't contain visual bugs.
@Joe__Draws I'd say it's a great improvement. However, I would say there are a lot of colors in the pallete that are too similar and as a result are barely noticeable. Pixel art tries to optimize as few colors as possible. I only used 12 colors for this guy.
