My friend Eric Brown died a couple of days ago.

Eric was an excellent and consistently underrated author whose work was full of humanity, compassion and vision.

In person he was kind, empathetic, thoughtful and self-effacing.

Do yourself a favour and read one of his books.

It's actually very hard for him to get truly mad. Annoyed, yes. But Ari's temper is almost non-existent.

He CAN get grumpy if he is super tired, but can't fall asleep after trying so hard to. But he doesn't snap out at peeps. Just sulks.
