The hair is the first picture is so complex it’s not a coincidence they look almost the same

As u can see in red the hair strands are almost the same except for the slight change at the end where it goes back

I could definitely see chunking these strands up in a stylized look and re-doing this as mostly 'tube' polygons, but I dunno, I feel like it might lose some of the neat volume and dynamic look after baking down.
