Finally finished this work on Different Strokes, late at night! Junko the Junky (Species, not the drugged-up people.) makes a return! And what better way to have her back than to see her in the mood for some heavy metal by performing for Barbz & Bramble?
Now I don't know what the original piece was supposed to be, but @GothBreasts & I assumed that this was some sort of... corn alien??? Well, that's what we think it was, so this was how I did my take and edit on it. Hopefully the original poster on Different Strokes likes it.
Tonight, on Different Strokes, you get to witness a completely different retelling of the story about Cinderella. Why? Because someone wanted "Cinderella Monogatari", which ended up making me think of Katamari for some reason... So, I guess I mixed both in one?

Had this pose tucked away for a good while and had a stroke of inspiration for another dancer illustration for Maris. A little more suggestive then normal but this works out well.

@MegglesArt My favorite part of the painting process is deciding on the initial color and lighting scheme with big brush strokes. I also love to make decisions about edges and values. :)
Art tip of the day: sometimes a simpler composition works better if you want to over-detail. Over-detailing and over composing only works on pretty specific art styles. If you do both, things will feel dirty and too filled with particles and brush strokes.

I fucking like despise shading with only airbrush or blur, to me it looks so, like gross where it’s all blended, I just think having strokes of a brush in the shading is beautiful and gives it more life I like a mixture of the both a lot but just straight airbrushing …. Ex:
-‘The Miscreant’ depicts a final boss scene, where two figures are intertwined in a struggle for dominance.
- The brushstrokes are chaotic, capturing the frenzied energy of the battle. The colours are dark and muted, evoking a sense of foreboding and danger
