ok, i am really happy with this style ive been trying lately.. a bit noodle-y, a bit angular, it feels good i love the rough aspects of it since my art, i have always been very methodical and clean with it i feel this one is more me
Rance is a really great series of visual novels.
The best aspect of Rance is the strong worldbuilding/lore and fun characterization.
The game has a really good sense of humor as well, even if it is quite crass.
Although the series requires high investment, the reward is massive!
@Superguy551 True. Certain expressions (eg. below Heroes/Rivals), will move the cheek around, so it's inevitable. I don't dislike it inherently, it's just an aspect of being expressive. What I'm iffy on is when it's there in relatively neutral expressions (eg. below Riders/BK).

I've actually finished her colors and design. Gonna work on learning proper shading.
Each aspect of her palette is BASE (Light) and DARK. Outline can be reused for very dark things like inner shirt, rimlight can be used anywhere.
