2020 has been a hard year, though some good things still came out of it.
For me, my art has improved since I had more time to work on it! Along with my understanding of anatomy (and snakes... Snake Discovery really taught me a lot this year, and I hope to see their new facility!

My aunt has to cope with Alzheimer. Her husband left her suddenly, after 5 days of fever, 2 months ago. My uncle was 80, sick with diabetes 1...but he was able to take care of her every day. Now the family is understanding how much.

- to be forgiving of myself and my art
- put more worth into having fun drawing than it being perfect
- that understanding & working with my brain will yield better results than pushing past it
- to enjoy learning again
- that I am more than just an artist
