They did give him a whole entire model in Baiken's arcade mode so he had to have at least been considered for Rev 2

I don't actually remember the music of the arcade game.
It was the C64 version I played the most.
Loved the ripped-off Jean Michel Jarre title-screen music. 👍 The conversion itself wasn't so good though. Sprites too big. Playfield too crowded. 😐

These are some of the original artwork files for the SNES game 'Spider-Man and the X-Men in Arcade's Revenge' ( 1992 ). The text under some of the sprite frames indicates the offset that needs to be applied to centre them correctly (eg L2 -move Left 2 pixels). Plus game credits.

What is he doing now? well, he lives in a cave which he calls an arcade, he has a bunch of arcade machines, some people come in to play them, some people just like to roam around it (note: the human form is not canon)

When you compare the Atari 2600 artwork to the original arcade flyer artwork it's hard not to accept Atari's as the best version 'eh! 😉👍

For the uninitiated, Part Time Shuffle is a delightful nostalgia casserole with fixins that pay homage to vaporwave, arcade fighting games, the FGC, HK cinema and yakuza films! It's a spicy dish that started out as a comic and evolved since then!

Marble Madness

Inspired by crazy golf and the artwork by MC Escher, Marble Madness is a trackball-controlled isometric platform/race game. Innovative, addictive & instantly playable, it was a huge hit & sparked dozens of imitators.

My Favourite Arcade Games of 1984 – No.8

Karate Champ

Known in Japan as 空手道 "Way of the Empty Hand" (sounds kinda familiar) Karate Champ was the first hit Kung-Fu arcade game. Massively influential, it triggered a wave of brawlers that entertained gamers for years to come.

I love the bright colors, well thought out shading, the action, the backgrounds... It's all great! Something I really like is that despite the realism, the characters still look like they're on an arcade screen

Spinball Whizzer and Duel, my tomboy girls - one is a pinball fanatic and the other busts ghosts, they have a friendly rivalry for arcade shooting games and a mutual friend in The Smiler.

This week's Try It Out Tuesday is Space Gun for the Commodore 64. Based on the alien-blasting arcade game of the same name by Taito, this was also on the Amiga, Master System, Atari ST, Spectrum, and DOS.
