After getting fixated on how some artists can draw with little to no outlines again I wanted to give it another shot then I began having an existential crisis on my already awful shading and texturing skills just like the last time I tried. Safe to say I'm still terrible at it 🙃

I Finally Completed my Commission for @MaiMai_art_ of the Sorels! A simple Half Body Outline w/ Flat Color. I added some two tone & Highlights to give it more depth. Which is what I usually do w/ my Flat Color work. Thx to those who stopped by today's Stream, btw! #SOULCALIBURVI
for a lot of these this has actually just been as simple as reopening the old file, resizing the canvas, and removing the outline layer, since the art already extended past the original canvas lol

@taxalot Riiight, but the way the outlines are rendered is a lot looser in Chomet's work, which gives them this look that's closer to ballpoint sketchbook art than cartoons 🤔And the mood... The mood is fantastic.

@mymindandmeg Also don't be afraid to practice by tracing or just overlaying images, it's not cheating.
Even using pictures of your own work or outlines is super handy.
It really helps you to get used to digital drawing and blending techniques.
