I don't like the term "God/Goddess mode" for an OC's alternate side or whatever they may have with powers. I'd rather call them alternates, or Awakened sides (which is what I call my OCs with different sides).
For instance, Rasachi (awakened/not) and Watcher (nighttime mode).

Love this stuff. There are lessons to be learned from old school advertising creative and editorial. The term always used was “visual pun”. It’s a bit of a dying art but as you said, human behavior doesn’t change that much.
