I decided to do an experiment to try out something new. Mostly just adding an extra step of shading to see if it makes the drawings have more depth. So I used a Lance (in both his forms cause hes a pretty boy 🐩✨)

OLD VS NEW. The coloring I used on the original wasn't a style that lasted long, partly because I was spitting out pages so fast I kinda forgot to keep doing it that way. Which is a shame, cuz I did like it. On the fence whether it's coming back in the redraw.
