Even the word 'autism' is stigmatised. I see many ppl use phrases instead (ie. 'on the spectum', 'neurodiverse'), as if they feel they're insulting someone when using 'autistic'.
Mia sees this in the story, too, from her Mum and kids. But, she starts to use the word proudly!
Lack of eye contact is still misunderstood. Even though ppl know that no eye contact is 'due to autism', they dont seem to understand the key point of this- that lack of eye contact doesnt equal not caring.
So, ofc I drew Mia in emotional situations, not making eye contact lol.
Felt pretty happy with tonight's batch :) although I might take a break to study anatomy more. I want to keep improving and keep drawing the ppl of limsa. #FFXIVART
