I made Au Ra horn and (male) scales heightmaps once but didn't have the tools to actually apply the maps so my friend used them to make a cooler not-black and white versions.
I use these textures in my art to draw au ra sometimes lmao

Then there was a 3d with pixelart textures experimentation and the ship was more of a world building thing

My sister is able to help hook me up with some renders of the avatar re-textures I’ve made in substance painter, and rendered using blender. I’ve got this one of my cat avatar (sorry markings are a bit messy,I was just trying to get it to work so I sped up the texturing)

There's a new set of characters in NieR Reincarnation called "Abyssal" characters, and their designs kinda resemble Gestalt Nier (The Shadowlord), with a black & red texture and unfurling body.

Abyssal Fio even has lil circular wings on her shoulder, kinda like the Shadowlord.
