Haven't drawn characters or line-based art in awhile. But I've found a brush set in CSP (Freehand style brush set) which feels really good to draw with. My hands cramp most of the time I try.

Guess who's back on th SSB style again? This nerd! And instead of just redoing the characters that I had done years ago, I ended up redo said pics into their current designs on Clip Studio.

i finally cracked and got a free trial for CSP bc ive been on the fence abt trying it for abt a year now. here's my first test piece!!

a fun issue with working in CSP when you utilize aliased stuff is that sometimes when zoomed out, you get some bizarre artifacting like in the first image, even tho at 100% zoom you find out it's super clean like in the second image

I drew a bust of Alkaid to try experiment with vectors in CSP, and they are pretty cool, imo!
