An artist acquaintance of mine wanted me to join some art challenge timelapse thing, so I agreed.

I think it helps more to study, of course study shadows in general, but looking at the way pro illustrators use value really has me stepping my game up

I love the orientation of the sword and crystals in this piece, and how they come to the center to effectively draw the viewer's attention to the Azuki's visage--well done! Wonderful work with the rendering as well, most notably the highlights/shadows ^o^
