#SkillNotTalent 2010 - 2013 - 2019 - 2022. Thanks to @JuliaMetzgerArt for the post idea. All of us devoting years to honing our skills not because we're snobs, but because we love our craft and are happy sharing our ideas with the world.
#SkillNotTalent
2010 vs 2022
Over the years I’ve gotten much cleaner with my lineart and digital art and I’m still improving. I don’t draw consistently but it’s so interesting to see the difference of when I started and where I am now.
Talent only gets you so far in art, if you're not willing to put in the hard work? Then you'll never get far.
I say this as an artist with aphantasia, I've learned to draw around my inability to 'see' mental imagery while I work.

Something I drew way back in 2013 vs 2022
(I didn’t draw humanoids back then)
#SkillNotTalent from july 2020 to december 2022
still have many things to improve

2003 - 2022.
It's always hard work.
Make art, fail, repeat.
I love going back to retouch old ideas with current skill sets.
#SkillNotTalent Perseverance, striving to get better... keep at it and you'll improve faster than you think.
I still have a way to go to be the artist I want to be, but that's why I keep on drawing.
(June 2019 vs. December 2022)
Forbidden art from dark age (2017) and my sunshine, Chi Chi (2022).

#SkillNotTalent same OC in 2020 and in 2022. I am not talented, but determined as hell.
2009 vs 2022
i started drawing ever since i could hold a pencil but i kept on drawing bcos... i just can't stop XD
i strive to get better at drawing because i want to tell better stories thru my art! being able to draw is not something that i was born with.
